At the invitation of President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea (ROK), Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Gyeongju and pay a state visit to the ROK from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1.

Since taking office in 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping has attended or chaired all the APEC Economic Leaders' Meetings and delivered important remarks at the meetings over the past years, putting forward a series of pragmatic proposals and initiatives.

China's resounding position and its unity of knowledge and action have guided Asia-Pacific cooperation toward solid and sustained progress, gathering strength for lasting stability and prosperous development in the region.
