BEIJING, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) will stage a concert in celebration of the Lantern Festival on Feb. 19.

The concert is presented by the China National Traditional Orchestra, which, founded in 1960, is the country's top troupe of Chinese folk music performance.

A number of well-known songs will be performed, including "Kangding Love Song," "Blooming Flowers" and "Full Moon," a festival treat for the audience.

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar when a full moon appears. It features family reunions, feasts and various cultural activities.
